Grooming Requirements

Grooming a Pugapoo requires regular brushing and combing of the medium to long hair coat to maintain it in perfect condition. In case the hair coat curly and non-shedding then it would need occasional professional trimming as well.

Moreover, like Pugs, Pug-A-Poo dogs may also have skin folds that need to be cleaned from time to time. Other grooming activities include nail trimming, checking and cleaning the eyes and ears, brushing the teeth etc. These dogs need not be bathed too frequently.

Pugapoo temperament is often a combination of traits from Pug and Poodle dog breeds. These adorable dogs are affectionate, friendly, lively and intelligent. However, they have been known to be stubborn and willful as well. In addition, they are slow to respond to training, therefore, training these dogs requires patience and consistency.

These hybrid breed dogs do not bark as often as other small breeds but are sure to announce the arrival of visitors. Pugapoo dogs are usually good with kids and get along well with other pets. These playful dogs dedicate their lives to their owners and enjoy doing things that please their beloved owners. They thrive on human companionship and derive pleasure in keeping you amused with their mischievous activities.
