Azmira dog food is manufactured by Azmira Holistic Animal Care. The company was founded in 1982 by Dr. Lisa S. Newman. Azmira dog food recipes are prepared from human-grade meats and pesticide-free whole grains.
This dog food does not contain by-products and animal fats. It contains natural flavoring without added salt, sugar or yeast. The pet food formulas offered by this brand are healthy and easily digestible.
Unlike other companies, the canned dog food produced by Azmira makes use of fish, lamb or beef broth instead of water.
In addition, Azmira dog foods are free of wheat gluten and rice protein concentrate, thereby making them less likely to cause food allergies in dogs.
The products are naturally preserved and have bio-available vitamins, minerals and nutrients. In terms of price, Azmira diet can be considered cost effective.
The company had been out of stock of its high-quality dog and cat dry food due to production problems, but it is again back in stock now. The food is packed using barrier packaging in order to retain its taste and freshness for longer.

Most Popular Azmira Dog Food: Azmira Classic Dog Formula
Azmira Classic Dog Food is meant for dogs of all life stages. So, it can be fed to puppies, adults and senior dogs.
The formula includes herb extracts and antioxidants to provide superior nutrition. Plus, it has probiotics as well to aid in digestion and improve general health.
Its first ingredient is beef meal, which is a meat product. In addition, it has brown rice, sorghum and barley; they are good sources of carbohydrates.
Sorghum, however, is also considered as low-quality filler that is low in digestibility. Nevertheless, it is gluten-free and rich in amino acids.
Moving on, the absence of wheat, corn and soy products in the recipe helps reduce the chances of dog allergies.
This Classic Beef Formula had been voted Top Dry Food in the Whole Dog Journal in the year 2001. The company suggests that you can add its Organic Herbal Blend in this formula for additional detoxification.
Coming to the negative aspects, this dry dog food includes controversial ingredients such as tomato pomace and canola oil.
Moreover, it has more fillers and inadequate amount of meat products that provide protein, which is an essential part of natural dog diet.
Reviews for Azmira Classic Beef Dog Formula

Azmira has been a life saver for us. Our chocolate lab used to have flakey, itchy skin, and she was miserable. I switched her to Azmira and she has not had skin issues since. People comment all the time on how beautiful her coat is. I would recommend this product to anyone, but especially for those whose pets have had skin/coat problems.

We have a rat terrier who is prone to allergies. We had her on medicated dog food for these allergies as recommended by the vet but she continued to have watery eyes and constant sneezing. I researched on the internet and started her on the Azmira brand. Her allergies and sneezing stopped within a couple of weeks. Her coat is shiny. We are definitely sold on this great dog food brand.

I use this kibble in conjunction with a homemade turkey meatball as my dogs main nutrition source. The dogs love the food and I love the all natural, wholesome ingredients the kibble contains. Dog owners will find comfort in knowing they are giving their pets a healthy dog food. This is a great product.
